The absolutely best party I ever attended was one thrown by a group of Australian expats living in the Hollywood Hills. They took prisoners on Friday night and didn't release the hostages until Sunday.

There is nothing quite like waking up totally confused about where you are with a bunch of Aussies bouncing up and down singing very loudly.
